Our Groups
The hierarchy of the CTG and the structure of its covens is somewhat unique to the modern Craft. Although our roots stem from the family practices of Lady Gwen Thompson, these practices absorbed a great deal of influence from other sects of British Traditional Craft, Rosicrucianism, ceremonial magick, as well as the neo-Pagan movement of the 1970s. Nonetheless, we consider the family model the most apropos when discussing both coven and Tradition hierarchy. Each Coven is considered to be unique, autonomous and independent, with foci being determined by its leadership, always within the accepted framework of the Tradition.
Grove of the Flaming Door
San Francisco, California
Led by
Barinthus, the Grove of the Flaming Door, a daughter grove of Coron Morwyn and Seren Draig Covens, is currently accepting students. Classes are held in the Lower Haight neighborhood of San Francisco. Our purpose is to foster within each individual member inner and outer personal development and an increase in magical knowledge and skills, while guiding dedicated seekers on the Path of Light to the Goddess and God of our ancestors. Our ideals are simple - to offer the best we can to those who wish to learn; to reach as far and as high as we can in search of Truth. To be true to ourselves, our teachings and our Gods. The Grove of the Flaming Door expects its students to form their own judgments, to ask questions and to develop a responsible attitude toward their studies. We will not do the work for you; you must want to do it. We will, however, help whenever and however we can. We can help bring you to the Door. How you pass through, and what you find there, is your personal Quest.
Seren Draig Coven and Outer Court
Arlington, Massachusetts
Seren Draig Coven and Outer Court is in its third incarnation under the leadership of the same High Priest. Originally founded in 1985 as StarSerpent Coven of the N.Y. Welsh Traditionalist Gwyddonaid, it became known first as Coron Morwyn Coven of the Celtic Traditionalist Gwyddonaid upon the founding of that Tradition.
Led by Lord Taliesin and Lady Cordelia, Seren Draig is a teaching coven that is focused on the personal growth of its initiates and the growth of the Tradition. We meet regularly for Esbats, Sabbats, and classes and other occasions (i.e. handfastings, sainings, healings, etc.) as they arise. Our rituals and gatherings are closed to the general public. Seren Draig is actively seeking new students who will be a good fit for our “family.” Potential applicants should be willing to learn, worship, and serve the God and Goddess all within the context of a Traditionalist Craft hierarchy.
The Celtic Traditionalist Gwyddonaid does not discriminate against students on the basis of gender, race, national origin, ancestry, prior creed, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, or physical disability. Joy, mirth, and cheerful brightness are cornerstones of our practice. If you are interested in joining us, please send a letter of introduction to Taliesin or Cordelia.

Asherah, Songs of the Watery Woode Outer Court is a truly family-oriented coven, with children of initiates often participating in rituals. Through the warmth and joy of children we learn to remember our own childhood awe of the Gods and are reminded of the mysteries of the magickal universe.
Watery Woode is also a teaching coven which, in addition to sharing the lore of the Gwyddonaid, focuses on the lore and love of things wild and free through nature and all her myriad mysteries. In addition to being in the outdoors as much as possible, Watery Woode also specializes in the “old” crafts of candle and incense making and herbalism, as well as exploring the various divinatory arts.
As with all covens of the Celtic Traditionalist Gwyddonaid, Songs of the Watery Woode welcomes all sincere seekers regardless of race, gender, sexual preference or identification prior religion or political affiliation. Sincere seekers are encouraged to contact Asherah.

Coron Morwyn Coven and Outer Court
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Led by
Lady Ennwydhen in her new northern home, Coron Morwyn Coven and Outer Court places emphasis on god/dess forms derived primarily from Welsh and, in some cases, the broader Celtic pantheon. We are truly a "training" coven, and guide the student to his/her goals through meditation, worship and practical work. Our Coven is open to all sincere seekers, regardless of age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or gender association. Each coven is autonomous and expresses its own unique "flavor," yet follows the form and function of the Tradition as established by the founding Elders. We are an initiatory, robed Tradition, with an emphasis on ritual, training and self-development, yet we maintain a healthy, family-style atmosphere, as befitting the recipients of Lady Gwynne's beloved family tradition. Coron Morwyn Coven looks forward to hearing from sincere seekers of the light.
